My name is Mel.

I am a single non smoking mum, with a grown up daughter and two grandchildren. Although I live alone my daughter who is also a registered childminder works alongside me. I have been a registered childminder since 2006 and prior to that I worked as a nanny to a family with three children. I stayed there for five years providing the family with day to day support. I enjoy working with children of all ages giving me the opportunity to experience something new and exciting on a daily basis.
My aim is to offer a warm, safe and friendly environment where children’s needs are paramount. We make full use of the drop ins, parks and libraries.

I also take the opportunity to attend regular training programmes offered by Westminister’s early year’s team enabling me to further develop my knowledge of child development.
We are a very welcoming family and offer you the opportunity to visit us in our home.
