Cheeky Rascals Childminders

My name is Pepe.

I have been a registered Childminder for 8 years. I live in W10 with my husband (who is also my Childminding Assistant) and 3 daughters. We share a spacious, welcoming home with access to a garden. As a home based practitioner, I am in a position to offer a personal, consistent, stimulating and a warm environment to children and their families.

On a practical level, children have access to physical and creative activities on a daily basis. In 2002, I set up one of the first support groups called All Nations which runs on Thursdays from the Beethoven centre. I also attend drop in’s on a Tuesday at Wech Community Centre and Wednesdays at Queens Park Children’s Centre. I attend training courses on a regular basis and hold various certificates such as Makaton & Food Hygiene (these are available to see on request).

I have completed my NVQ level 2 and 3 in Care and Education, I am a Support Childminder giving advice and guidance to new Childminders, I am a Trained Breast feeding Counsellor, my First Aid training is up to date and I am currently attending training on Speech and Language therapy.

UPDATE: 23rd of April 2009 following an OFSTEAD inspection: the overall outcome was OUTSTANDING in all areas
